Free art Friday again

These are last night's contributions... Which as of 2pm the next day are still there.

Free Art Fridays

So, through facebook I came across a little thing that some creative people are doing all over the place... Free Art Fridays. The idea is simple: Put art out on a Friday for someone walking by to pick up and take home.

These are my first two Friday donations:

Both gone the next day.

tiny hiboux, una llama, beave, and brad ger..... More Features.

Now I have 8 in total. Seems like a nice place to stop..... but I'm not sure if i can... not just yet.

Here are the new addition to the little Features family:

(I've put this little guy out in Chichester for Free Art Friday)

Check out facebook for a clue of where it is.

'cat tail'

'la caille'

I've set up these as round coasters as well.

I might just have to make these a set of these for myself.

He's back!

This is the original bad owl.....

and he's back......

I also took a picture every so often while drawing this one to create a little gif.
Photobucket

This was a good 10+ hours of inking on this one, but it was well worth it.

The end.

Bath Time for the bear and the cat

The bear and the cat seem to be a recurring theme. Don't ask why.

We used to have to do pointillism in elementary school (what up Bearisto!) and I had forgotten how much I actually hated it. That being said, I think it is worth the potential carpal tunnel syndrome when I look at the outcome.

Obviously its not all pointillism, only a little bit but even that was painful.

1977

When home at Christmas this year I found this old picture of my parents from the 70's and thought it looked really cool. Every now and then I have this need to do something realistic, maybe to proove to myself I still can or I just need to get it out of my system.

I literally just sketched it out in pencil straight onto the wood panels and kept drawing and shading it. I have no idea what I was going to do with it; if I was going to paint it or what. Then I started just staining it with acrylics for a bit of colour. I liked the way it turned out.

The end.
