Prior to the Christmas madness this was the last official artwork I managed to complete mid November. After that all attention was focused on customer orders and markets. I am looking forward to having the time to create more creatures again.

Game of Thrones Inspired Russian Owls

I've had the opportunity to do some really unique commission themes for Russian Owls last year. This is one of them.



An Etsy customer requested Owls with the theme of Game of Thrones, specifically the creatures representing the families.

Social media always falls at the wayside when I get busy. The website and the blog the first to get pushed aside.

The run up to the festive seasons was unprecedentedly busy for me this year. I somehow managed to fit in 6 Christmas Markets between November 23rd and December 15th, work full time, keep Etsy orders going out the door, plus a handful of commissions all before we packed up and went to Canada for the Holidays on the 19th.

Although absolutely manic and stressful, I thoroughly enjoyed all the markets but now am thoroughly enjoying the break from making and looking forward to just painting for no reason at all.
